This is a Long Form
handle for a 2-part show.
Get (or prepare) a suggestion for a movie style. This needs to be very specific. E.g. 'action movie' is too general. 'Superhero movie' is better. Disaster movie is fine as well. You can even pick a director-based style, like 'Tarantino', but then it should be a director that have a very clear style. Steven Spielberg for example has done too many movies in too many different styles and that is not going to work.
Get from the audience as many elements that are typical for this style. Think about the characters we typically see in these kinds of movies, their occupations, and typical situations. Write down all suggestions - you'll need 20-30 of them.
Part one is just a collage of scenes, unrelated to one another, that might be part of a typical movie in the style chosen, and based on the elements provided by the audience.
After the intermission, the audience gets to choose the scene they liked best. You re-play the scene. The audience need to help the cast remember things they might have missed.
And then you play the whole movie, in which the original scene is 'somewhere' - i.e. the original scene should not be the start of the movie (but it might be the final scene).
